I mean, that was a pretty sh*tty comment.

I actually don't mind the paint. It's very similar to the "Bat Out of Hell" paint scheme Cigarette used in that era that I've always liked. only thing I'd change is the name on the side. Personally think it takes away from the flow of the graphics. Opinion's vary but like most were taught in kindergarten - if you don't have something nice to say.....

Did I love the paint. No. Was it the worst paint job ever. No.

I think it was one of the better ones in the 90’s. There are a bunch out there with similar splash paint schemes. Ruckus, road runner, etc.

if someone’s only complaint is paint…wrap it, repaint it, or move on and don’t buy it.

what do I care…

Yep, the "splash" graphics were huge in the late 90's. Like I said, I don't mind them at all. And like you said, a wrap is fairly cheap and easy. Done. I (obviously) don't even consider paint when I'm buying a boat as it can be changed. When we had the cafe and repainted it, they asked me if I wanted to strip the squigly paint design that was very popular in the early mid 90's with cigarette but I told them nope, keep it, just update the graphics paint. I thought it looked good. The paint on our current boat was not my favorite when looking to buy it but 1) it looks amazing on the water in person as most paint jobs do, they look a whole lot different on the water in person. and 2) it's grown on me. So, whatever. lol

1. that was a sh@tty comment but it was funny I give em that
2. I can’t believe it took that long to sell, I think it was a sharp boat, I personally dig the paint, probably the other drawback was the salt water, who knows
3. I hear how no one is buying old sterndrive boats but dang, look at the classifieds, there is not much out there… very slim pickings

you are right. There isn’t much inventory out there. Honestly I think interest rates locked a lot of people up.

people who were looking to sell and buy something else are holding off. Others might be thinking market is tough with gas prices. So why take the loss.

honestly I don’t see the boat market moving up any time soon. Covid era stuff is over. It ended 1-2 years ago.

just my opinion.
