I have a pair of XR lowers 5,500 .......20 hrs on one and the other has just been rebuilt...........just need to find the uppers they are out there

I ran the crap out of that boat with standard B1's on that boat and it never gave me a wink of drive trouble. I'm not a huge fan of XR's, I've seen plenty break the case and plenty pit gears. I've had the best of luck with standard Bravo's personally.

Hey Donzi matt. out of subject but did you have a 2000 ish excalibur 23 footer back like ... 15 years ago maybe?

Nope, not me.

I had a 26 Sonic, 22 Donzi, 31 Formula, 35 Cafe Racer, and now a 38 Top Gun for speed boats.

B1's over XR's no thanks, Ive been running close to 800 a side through XR's and IMCO bottoms for three plus years with no issues........O chit probably jinks myself...

Thanks very much for the comment. That helps a lot. I’ve read a fair amount about the strength of these drives vs. other drives and knowing you had no issues on this boat with these engines helps. Thanks again.
