Default Looking for any info on this boat anyone has.

Does anyone have any info on the 2004 purple 38 Topgun with 6’s and 900hp sterlings. It’s currently listed. Doesn’t seem like there is much info out there on it unlike other 38tg’s with 6’s. Any info, pics, or videos are appreciated.

Greek Lightning on here was the original owner (I'm pretty sure) and it was named Heavy Metal Thunder at one point. I did some research on it years ago when I was considering buying it (wasn't listed but through word-of-mouth) and couldn't find any bad history on it. Back then, it'd been sitting in a warehouse on the east coast for quite some time. Looks like the new owner had it gone through and has been enjoying it.

Heavy Metal Thunder...

Here I found the thread with the pictures I recieved when I was considering buying it. Only reason I didn't at the time was I knew it needed valve springs from sitting so long and I didn't want carb engines.

That info is pretty correct. Greek Lightning (Mike) built it new, but didn't like it and didn't keep it long. It got shuffled to a person or two after him, and did end up sitting in a warehouse on the East Coast until 2015sh. Boat was sold then with I think 80 hours on it to Dan Adams in Michigan. He kept the boat a couple years and sold it to the current owner in 2018. The drives were set to high originally and it was a handful, that's why it has the giant spacer in it. Even if you compare the scoop size to Hot For Teacher, they're huge.
