I did end up with #6 Gun after all.

Shes warm and inside... its in the 20's here currently. im enjoying admiring all the details in the rigging and paint. I need the blowers looking like yours!
We ran the boat for almost 2 hours after oil changes ECT. and its differently a machine. ran up to 94-95 and everything seems to be very solid, and honestly I agree with you that over 100 really isn't necessary.... It is very well balanced and handles like a smaller boat with the big boat capability. If that makes sense, but simply put I love it.

By the way, I posted this on my thread but this stuff works amazing well to polish metal. Easy on, little buff and then polish out by hand with a micro towel. I used a polish ball on a cordless drill for some extra umf. But it doesn't reach everywhere, which is where the kid putting some elbow grease in comes in handy lol Try it out. Good stuff.

That's awesome to hear. Glad you're happy and it's all going well. I ran in Tim's 90MPH model gun Pure Adrenaline in LOTO and you can definitely feel how well balanced those staggered guns are. One of the reasons L&L was on the short list.

I haven't, no. this white magic stuff is a bit oily and leaves a film which is what I think they mean by the label talking about a "long lasting sealant". It's great stuff. The only thing is (as you'll soon find out) these old blower motors with the big belts leave a fine mist of oil and belt dust all over the motors after use. It's not really noticeable immediately but after a couple uses you start seeing it. Then you wipe em down after and it takes some of the shine out. So, a lot of shining is necessary. But that's what I have kids for. lol

Sharkhide is good stuff but has to be put on correctly . Right temp, prep the surface correctly and use a diaper only to apply.
I use it on my drives,, tie bar, prop shaft, and other stuff ... it`ll keep the lower shiny all summer.
It`s a tough clear coat. I was going to try it on the exhaust tips this year.
I really liked the monimal cleaning of Bad Kitty engines , everything was anodized black, super easy to keep clean with a simple wipe.

I tried some cheap cleaner wax on a small section and made a world of difference, so I think I’ll get all the surface stuff off then try the white diamond.
I have 3 girls so they don’t like polishing as much as I do. Lol.
im sure you have posted before but what props are you running?

L&L is a perfect piece… I feel like this one was meant for me.
