Any word on rendezvous for 2025
 

Or do we just crash the party at PBC, its such a great time of the year can't miss going,

The 'rendezvous' PBC put on was moved to BTM last year as they are now the Cigarette dealer at the lake. PBC put on an event same weekend....I am guessing the rivalry will continue.

Brett and Ed are both on here occasionally....

My understanding after attending this last one in June is BTM will be in charge this event moving forward. Cannot answer for PBC but I don't see them picking the mantle back up for 2025. Just doesn't make economic sense given they no longer are a Cig dealer. BTM did a pretty good job IMO for there first time

anyone got any insight on a good place to stay close by? Say for 4 adults no kids probably just one boat as of now

I would say to try to stay at the hotel they are doing the breakfast and then the Saturday dinner at as that would be most convenient.

There is basically no hotels at LOTO, everyone rents condos or houses. (Make sure it includes a slip or that one is available) There is literally hundreds to pick from. My recommendation is stay between the 0mm and the 25mm on the Osage Beach side. (Business side of lake) VRBO, etc is the best place to look.

The Ledges or Lands End condos are both great locations by land and water.
My buddy Jason has lots of rentals at both Lake of the Ozarks Vacation Rental Properties

For 2 adults I would recommend a 1BR/1BA at Heron Bay(my complex). Large 36-40' slips are pretty limited though.

How was last years event at BTM? I really enjoyed the PBC Rendezvous and going to miss them. I'm going to try my best and make this years Rendezvous, I should have my boat back in the water!

I have 2 side by side 1BR/1BA condos at Heron Bay, but I don't rent them. The new one might get rented out some eventually. I know several other owners with rentals though that are not publicly listed for rent anywhere and I could put you in touch with them. There are a few large rental slips that can be had, but F2 and his crew last year snagged up most of them:D Docking on the ends of the docks is allowed for up to 48hrs and free if no big slips can found.

Hey JD, last yr BT had a short time to get the event put together mid June when the torch was passed, good time

I thought Big Thunder did a great job on short notice. We're heading back again this year, also still love hanging at PBC and Red Head

Those who went last year, does BTM have a ramp and trailer storage? If not, where did you launch and leave your truck and trailers? Past events, I always launched at PBC and left my trailer there.

We launched at PBC last year but also stayed at a house across from them last year.

Jim, We launched at PBC they have a public ramp or you can pay them for a in and out service and they will store the trailer on their property for 100 bucks for the duration of the visit. BTM doesn't have a set up on the water.

We used PBC as well

BTM bought another small marina on Horseshoe and may have a ramp? eddie

^^^^^That is their dock building marina now. That is a pretty good ramp though. Never would hurt to ask about launching there and they have some storage up on the hill.
