Default Factory Floor-‘04 TG

My ‘04 Gun has the ‘cheese grater’ floor in it. I’ve been avoiding on dealing with it and have just been going the carpet route. Was thinking on finally doing Sea Deck. How do I remove the original floor? I’m imagine using heat of some kind and a lot of frustration. Thanks in advance.

Go with Maine Mat they use snaps instead of glueing it down, you can go over the old floor without removing the old floor.

Interesting. You can’t feel it thru the Sea Deck? And Sea Deck sticks to it? Thanks

I would recommend the snap in route as well. The glued on stuff does eventually peel and shrink. It also gets dirty and worn if you don’t stay on top of it. AND from what I understand getting the glue off when you swap
out is a NIIIIIGHTMARE. We did Seadeck in the cafe and im
getting ready to do it in the gun but it’ll be the snap in. Or we may do carpet again. We’ll see.

I just put Marine Mat right over my cheese grater (feet grader).

I have snaps on my foot rests, but I just laid the rest of the carpet in. Makes it really easy tp pull out and clean with simple green. I’ll dig out a pic.
