Default On the trailer hunt.

I’m on the hunt for another trailer for my 87 Cafe if anyone has any leads. Aluminum, steel, gooseneck I’m open to anything.

Thanks!

First, don’t bother pricing out a new one! Ouch.

second, have you thought about refurbishing yours. That’s what we ended up doing. Came out really nice.

third, the gentleman that bought our cafe may be selling the trailer under it. he didn’t want it when he bought the boat. I beam aluminum upgraded with ladder at bow wheels, new brakes / hubs etc.

Edit:

I talked to Frank that bought our cafe. He’s on lake Lanier I believe. He says he’s interested in selling. Send me your contact info via PM if you’re interested. Here’s a couple photos, can’t see the ladder really well but it’s there at the bow. Sure makes it nice
for washing and for boarding.new hubs, brakes, LED’s, ladder and bow stop, Crank, jack, 7 wheels / tires and tongue early 2023

youd probably be able to purchase it for what the refurb cost me! 🤦‍♂️

Hey man!

yeah I’ve been thinking about re doing mine but it’s pretty dang crusty honestly coming from south Florida it was not nice to it.

I’ve got 2 now the original one to the boat and another I picked up over the winter I tried out this weekend and something just isn’t right and I have no idea why.

But keep me in the loop on the one you mentioned if you don’t mind! I’d be interested!

Default Trailer

If anyone is on the hunt for a replacement I’ve decided I’m going to sell the one I just got. 6 newish tires all new lights , bearings etc. I’ll make a nice deal on it in south East Tennessee about a hour away from Nashville 6 lug steel trailer minimal rust.

There is a guy at LOTO that sell new aluminum trailers. They seem pretty reasonable for what you are getting, he has them on Marketplace.

Came here to post about something similar.

https://www.gladstonecoveboattrailersales.com/

I was looking for used trailers when I got my 29 Fountain from LOTO that didnt have a trailer. I found some used steel triple axles at LOTO for 3500-4k but needed to be adjusted for the step on the boat and needed some work etc. Found these guys and bought a higher rated tandem axel aluminum I Beam trailer brand new with surge brakes for 9k. They went and measured the boat and setup the trailer for me before I got there so it was all ready to go. Super solid team there.

Thanks,

really happy to hear that worked out! Best part, your boat will fit like a glove and that trailer is ready to roll! Or at least it was a year ago when I sold it. But the new owner only used it to get it towed from havasu to Georgia. I was actually thinking, it probably only has like 3k total miles on it since the full
fedurb.

post some some pics when you get your boat on it.
