I have a line on a couple of 500HPs for my Bullet any thoughts on the speed
It is an 89 and has the pad

My 91 did 78.4 on GPS with 550 HP. New owner put on new style bravos and supposedly picked up 4 more MPH!
With old style bravos and 500HP I bet 71-74!
How fast is it currently? what engines?

Mine is an 89 with the notched transom.......

80 mph with 650 hp........I have alot of fine tuning left to do

I'm running 28 bravos.......

stock 454 365 mag have seen 64 on gps

Klaw...I think Brad is right on with speeds....I looked at hp' 500
for my boat....several people said the same thing..70-74

I'm wondering what 2" shorties would do for these boats ?
I'm assuming we have a very low X......

I have new style bravos

I can't remeber the props for sure but I think they were 26"or 24" and 1:36 ratio at 5200RPM!

The 1992 we have for sale ran 73 w/ 500HP, we put IMCO 2" shorties and ran 78.9. We put 540SC 750 HP and ran in the mid 90's.

We've got (2) 525 HP motors, just built. 9000.00 for the pair complete.

In one of your other threads I noticed you were doing your interior over. Take a look at the bottom of the rear seat support and notice the water damage. I had to replace the ply wood in that section but modified it from an occuring problem. Once the wood is replaced, trim approx 1/4" to 1/2" from the bottom. You dont have much room due to the battery switch door. From there you can add some more alum "L" brackets or starboard for added support. This in turn allows water to drain where it's supposed to to avoid "wicking". I have more tips on what you will discover when doing this. Let me know if you need any.
