Question Carbon 70...?

What does the carbon 70 designation mean on an early 90's CAFE RACER? I'm lookin' to purchase a used Cafe and came across this model?

Any info. is greatly appreciated as I hope to purchase a Cig ASAP.

Thanks,Greg.

Carbon series was a lighter boat built by Cig, laid up with carbon fiber . there where a few 38s and cafes built. the same 2 years they also offered the platnium series, pro series, etc. Just check the inner cabin. inbetween both consoles by the Vee berth. make sure there are no cracks.

Thanks,Tres!

I still want to find a Gladiator, just can't find the right boat. This Cafe was gonna be a tweener boat for me. I will know today about this deal and if I don't like what I hear I'm coming back to FT. Laud Sat. and I'm NOT goin home empty handed this time. I will be sure to touch base if that happens and I plan to see Gary B. about his '02 Glad. as well.

Appreciate the info., maybe we'll be working something out soon, Greg.

Craig, It is the boat in Indy. Are you interested or do you know anything about the boat. You can PM or e-mail me if you want.

Thanks, Greg.
