Thanks, I'm very proud of it. I removed the Trannys and TRS' and put new Bravo ones in. The ride is soo much better.

Gorgeous, you gotta love old cigs, my 36' will be leaving the paint shop in a week. Where'd you get the Naca vents in the back from?

I got them from Cigarette when they still offered them on the conventional bottom boats. Removed the old vents and glassed the holes. Then cut the new holes for the Naca's. Thanks!

First off I have to say that you have a truly beautiful boat.

I noticed the NACA ducts that you have on the boat and have a couple of questions: 1. What material are they made of (ABS, glass). 2. Are they glued in. 3. And I noticed you have to and then a third rear facing, where are they connected and what is the rear mounted one for?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I honestly do not know what they are made of. When I did the project there were so many things going on. I knew I wanted them because of the modern look they give. They are glue/caulked in, then permanently glassed in. The rear one faces backwards on all of the Cigarettes with the Naca vents, new and used. Mack at Doller Offshore is who oversaw most of mine.

Here is an example of the rear vent on another boat.

the rear vents face backward to let air out...take a look at the Outerlimits and Skaters and the new Cigarettes...they all have vent on the transom usually covered by a flap on hinges...with the speeds they are achieving, there's alot of air being pumped into those engine compartments and not all of it is getting rammed down the carbs...the rest needs a place to go...
