Default Questions about the 36 Gladiator

I don't see too many for sale, How new is this design? Is it effective in the racing circuit or is it a dog? Is it available in a staggered setup? Any bad tendencies?

Just curious at this time. I am considering it as a next boat.

I have not been in one, but have seen a few of them. Dick Simon Marine has one with staggered 525's and ITS running 92 mph.
I have heard the boat handles great as well.

The down side that I see is very little storage for a pleasure boat. Tres might respond to your question since he campained one VERY succesfully.

I am looking for a "second boat" Something a little smaller and built to take a pounding. The Idea is I can take my family out on the big boat for a day but I would like a smaller sportier boat so when me an the guy's want to go out we can put the hammers down and not worry about the "microwave falling out" ect... I may even want to race the boat in the GLSCS but most likely as an owner not a driver.

I got to experience one first hand. One of my customers has one with merc 500 hp supercharged with the vortech system. The boat was shown in this months Family and Performance Boating Magazine. One of the best riding boats that I have been on in a long time. Couldn't believe the way it handled.

SO there are 2 very different views about this boat, great riding and rolling machine...what is the true story?? Even the post about JBK buying BG1's boat aludes to problems with the boat..so what is the real story and how does it have to be driven to be safe??

Talking

We also have a 2004 Gladiator in stock with 525's and staggered XR sportmasters in stock fresh out of the paint shop. BEAUTIFUL boat. The paint work is second to none. Give a call if you have any questions about this boat or any others.
