as some of you may know, my father was diagnosed with cancer in September. since then, more and more of my attention has been needed to help with my family's businesses, most of which require my attention in the spring, fall and most of the summer weekends. my #1 priority is my father's health. my #2 priority is maintaining the successful businesses that he has started. unfortunately, boating is much further down on that list. if i'm unable to use the boat this summer or next, i'd rather put it on the market. that being said, fortunately, his treatments are progressing quite well. he has his first major "check up" tomorrow. if everything goes as planned, i will not sell Speed Racer and will have the opportunity to enjoy it this summer. for now, i'm acting as if i will be keeping it. Speedy is sitting in my shop awaiting the new flooring from Lonseal to be installed, as well as repainting the swim platform, grab handles and bolster stands. as soon as that is complete, it will leave my shop headed to CPR at LOTO for some maintenance. it will be ready to rip up the waters of LOTO by April.

the boat is not officially on the market, but as you know, everything is always for sale!

thank you for all of the kind words. he's a determined individual and wants to get back to normal as soon as possible. we are keeping our fingers crossed!

CPR is a complete rigging shop located at the lake. Scott and Ruben are top notch people that live their lives for boats. their knowledge in rigging and engine building is immense! believe me, no one else touches the Cig. their customer list continues to grow each year. Tbonepmp, SummerO and SinkorSwim will also vouch for their commitment to customer service. they are located just off of D on Ballard Road. PM me if you need any other information.

chad hope all is well with your dad. my mom is also going through the same thing. she has breast cancer for the second time. first time was when i was in high school, and now 14 yrs later it has come back. she is a strong lady and cancer wants no part of her. you sound like a strong kid jumping into your family bus while your busy with your life. i like you, you can bang my sister any day, if i had one. remember keep your pimp hand strong and your stable full, and the rest will fall into place. it should be easy to keep the stable full with speed racer.
