I was thinking of doing the same so I wouldnt have to put numbers on the boat...but then I thought of all the lettering on the back and I said the hell with it....there isnt a lot of room back there in case you havent noticed.....
2112 nice choice
If you have a commercial boat documented you must have the name on port & star side letters must be no smaller then 4" in hight and not passed mid ship plus you must have boat name on the stern and your home port.

If you want a pleasure boat documented 4" in hight and you must have boat name on the stern and your home port.

It is documented as a pleasure boat.

Looks like some others have done a nice job placing the name and port on their boats

I think you made a wise choice on the graphics. How are they going to transition from the red deck to the blue hull sides w/ a smooth surface?

I am not sure I understand what you mean....but ...you still have to put the name of the vessel and the port of call on the back regardless of whether it is a pleasure boat or not......Jeffrey's boat looks good, but I have a different hatch... as do you....and the space is really limited......any other gladiator owners out there with a pic of how they managed to get this done on a staggered set up boat???

Spitfire-

Here is an '03 Gladiator with 525EFI staggered. Looks like the same hatch as yours?

Sure is..........thanx.....that looks pretty good......I am surprised that they were able to fit something like that in......I guess it can be done.....I called to check out the process of documenting the boat...and I was told that they were running about three months behind at this time......

I went through a marine title company. They must have connections because there was no wait.

Or, because I am way up here in Washington state, (where we are not afraid of running Fords, GLH ) there is less of a wait with the coast guard.

More than anything, I wanted to avoid the ugly state #s on the side of the hull.
