Nope...not that one. I did look at that one, though...very clean. The guy who used to own it lived here in So Cal, but traded it in to Bullock for a new Skater..so it went from So Cal, to Texas, and Bruce told me it was in Michigan.

The owner said that went through everything and said it ran about 95MPH with the big motors. However, he wanted $113K...and said he wouldn't take less, unless he pulled the motors and put 525's in it. Bruce said $99K with the big motors (which I still thought was a little high for a 1990), so I'm not sure who was actually selling it.

Although the 800HP motors were good...I didn't think they were Sterlings (if you know what I mean).

The one I'm getting is here in So Cal (ex- Ski race tow to Catalina)...and was documented in Boulder City (Lake Mead) Gary Teague did the motors and is the one selling it (for the owner). He told me they were dyno'ed at 720HP a side.

Nice rig. Are you planning on adding paint if you get it ?
Yeah...the boss already has some ideas...although I like the white.

You guys wouldn't happen to know where I can get some Cigarette vinyl for the truck?

Whats the deal with the boat, did you get it? I have been off the boards for a week or so and need to get updated.

What kind of Cig vinyl are you looking for? If it is just stickers I have a few laying around and I could send you some. Let me know.

Well, I got it home today.

On the trailer

Man, those electric over hydraulic brakes are the way to go. Since I pick up the 3/4 ton Sub Monday, I had my buddy tow it today with his Duramax...

Hooking up

I sure wish the Sub came with the diesel.

I can't register it until I get a letter from the Coast Guard releasing the documentation from the previous owner. Hopefully, I'll be out next weekend.

Yeah...a sticker for the new truck would be great. Thanks.

Cool, the boat looks great!!!

We checked into the Duramax option on the Suburban but Chevy told us they don't know when or if it will happen. The 3/4 ton with the gas motor should work fine.

PM me your address and I will shoot you a couple of stickers.

Looks good. Saw it advertised in Powerboat, Got any pics of the cockpit or cabin? How does it run with those motors?
BTW I tow mine with a dually, had a panic stop yesterday....glad I had the dually.

Thanks, guys.

I just got back from 7 hours of cleaning. Ran the motors, and they sounded great... a little surge, but nothing too bad. Those flush systems are very cool- just hook up the hose and go.

Engines

One thing I can't figure out...what the hell are those Mercury canisters on the gunwales?

The cabin is in GREAT shape- looks brand new. Other than spending an hour cleaning the head (it's very glamorous being a Cig owner), the compartments were the only dirty areas.

Anyone know where I can get replacement shocks for the hatches?

The cockpit is showing a little wear, but nothing major. Here's a shot of the dash:

dash

I'm not really happy with the black Gaffrig gauges...but they all work, and it shouldn't be too hard to change them down the road.

Gotta love the rotary trim controls, GPS, and intercom system- pretty cool.

When my buddy was towing it with the Duramax, the Allison would actually slow us on the downhill...and the electric brakes would kick on.

I bought a Prodigy module for the new truck...if it works as well as the trip yesterday...I will be happy.

I cannot see the cans real well but if the boat has bravo drives it looks an awful lot like the shift assist option that makes a bravo shift more like a transmission type outdrive (i.e. - smooth and easy). If I am not mistaken, it is a somewhat expensive option which is probably why you have not seen it before. I've been told it is really sweet.

Thanks.

Yeah...I think it says "Mercury Power Shift"...or something like that on the side. I believe that it does have vacum lines attached.

I'll see if I can get a better pic next time.
