Default 38 Top Gun Flat deck?

What is the difference between a Flat deck top gun and the newer top guns? Is it more head room in the cabin?

If I were looking at a 1993 model, would that be a flat deck?

Thanks,
Mat

No, it would be a Top Gun. They started in 1987. Check this one out.

Dave,
I bought the gladiator. Took it out Sunday and it ran great! Looking at a project winter boat.

Rick,
I do like it a lot. Where do you store your bumpers? Do you have a better way of accessing the deck hatch than the pin and o-ring that came with the boat?
Thanks,
Mat
P.S. Rick, I really appreciate all of your input on my buying decision.
