The 24 foot Cigarette and the 24 foot Banana Boat came from the same mold. If you are having no luck finding a Fire Fox you may be able to pick up a Banana.
Take a look at our photo section for some more history on this.

Re: 24' Fire Fox
My 27 was in NC for the 2003 season, NY for 1999 - 2002, and Florida 1999 - 1981.
I had the excalibur 24, and that pic clearcut3 is the same hull. They have a 7' beam, 24 degree bottom, but the bow entry is not nearly as sharp as the cigarettes and donzi's of the same era, and boy you feel it! The molds went to monza, and was used by someone else in the late 90's, and I just saw a brand new one for sale near me built by "Cobra" - It is the EXACT same hull as the old excalibur.
And yes, Squadron was technically a seperate co. for less than a year, having a hin that starts with XEX. But both Cigarette and the insurance co's consider them all to be "Cigarettes". The timeline is even outlined in the latest Cigarette brochures....
Whirlwind, beautiful boat !! I think I saw some pic of your dash somewhere,--- I've got the Gauge pods like yours sitting in my garage and was thinking of eliminating dash panel that was added to my boat in favor of running those across the dash, (painted white because of the salt water here). Thought it would be a nice retro touch,a nd totally different from what else is out there (I used to see those pods on all the drag boats in powerboat magazine as a kid) Good luck with yours............
There was a 24' Cig/Squadron, but only from '81 - '84.
