Are you sure about that ? That seems a little hard to believe out of a Cafe', with only 650 per side and running 97 mph. I'm only curious because I had a lighter weight Cafe' ( carbon fiber ) with 600 per side on Bravo's / cones and only saw 86 mph on its best day, in salt water.

Yo J.

No Cafe with 650's has ever ran 97mph. Not even close.

Does he possibly mean the 35' Mistress (T/S) that does a lot of the poker runs?

Thats why I asked for some pictures of it, I'm sure that I or someone here would recognize the boat. Just trying to be tactful is all.

There are some traditional bottom 1000 and wet 6 Guns that struggle to get similar speeds.

Bobby

That guys name is Bob. He and his girlfriend had dinner and drinks with us in Key West. He's running the 650 or so Cobra's. That boat ran good. It didn't run 97, but ran low 90's.

Yeah that nice looking one in classifieds barley gets that, if it even does.

The boat in question is a "35 Mistress TS" w/650 Cobra's, and it did run in the mid 90's
GPS...it also was the brochure boat in the '03/04' catalogue.
