Thanks for the trip down memory lane...I have accumulated a lot of the same memorabilia over the years but you go back more into the seventies than I did.
Could you please provide me with some info?
One of the images you have posted shows a magazine article reviewing (3) three Cigarettes, a 31 Bullet, a 35 Cafe Racer and a 38 Top Gun on the same page. I believe it is in the 'Apache image' section. I currently own the 38 Top Gun on the bottom of the page. I know I was the original Top Gun factory demo boat in 1987 and owned by Jeff Friedman, who bought Cigarette from Don Aronow. Nice to see it in print.
What magazine and issue did this article appear in? I'd like to try and find a clean copy of that magazine for my collection.
Thanks,

Thanks for the prompt reply...!!! I'll try and find the magazine.
Just a brief update on the boat for those who might be interested:
It was still in original condition when I bought it in Jan 1998 with 195 very pampered hours on it. Over the course of several years I replaced the Hawk 6000's (540's) with Mel Riggs custom built 572's and all the best goodies: Callies crank, Carillo rods, J&E pistons, CMI exhaust, Dart heads & intakes, Crane roller rockers, Crane/Mercury Racing cam, Holley 1150 Dominator carb. Rebuilt both drives - SSM III's. Paint still all original and is beautiful, especially the airbrushed hawk logo. New padded hatch cushion with Cig logo. Repainted old competition dash to all white with new white Gaffrig gauges and yellow bezels. Just a tasteful update to a nice classic.
