You forgot his best work; "How to payoff your trade-in with no money down" or the now classic institutional banking documentary "How to lend millions in unsecured loans with invalide liens" |

Patrick Hill just powder coated these sea strainers for me. He did great work and was very fair in price.

Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
GLH, Tres has given me enough free advice. I hate to waste anymore of his time. He already has been very helpful. I have been talking to Julie at Trottle up. She is so helpful. I think we are going to try some 27p Hydromotive P5-X.
Tres, the props, center drive and motors were all missing from the boat when I bought it. |
Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider

Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider

Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
you are pimping it hard these days. and you said you are living a quiet, simple lifestyle. you kidder you... so tell me about this truck. by the way, mine is treating me well. 10,000 miles and not a problem. i love it, so glad i went with it rather than the 350. ryan beckley just made me a great cigarette sticker for the tailgate, and the truck turns some head. dave

Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
The Innovation 600efi's are PERFECT! Don't touch them. The 600Plus Horsepower was achieved with the Eickert Exhaust. The engine actually performs better with that particular exhaust. I'm not sure of the exact Horsepower numbers with the CMI's. I'm sure that they were lower. Volvo Penta had Innovation build their Hi Performance line to compete with Mercury Racing. They built 500, 525, and 600 EFI engines. If you would like to know more about the engines you can ask me or contact Dennis at Innovation. Oh and the best of all the engines have Closed Cooling. They were Dyno Tested exactly like you see in the picture with a Bravo Drive Hub.

Got two of the motors in. Just waiting on CMI to custom make the headers for the front motor.
|
Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
Good Looking mills. Can't wait to see what kind of performance you'll get.
Tell em they have to get something less70's ish as a graffic on the flame arrestors. |
Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider

Got the boat back today. Had to make room in Bobby's shop for a 46 Skater. We are waiting on the headers for the front motor. We had some reversion with the CMI tailpipes so we are now waiting on Dry exhaust. Anybody need a set of new CMI tailpipes with only 10 minutes test time. I paid $600 per set and will sell both sets for $600. Maybe Too Old will trade me for some new gauges???

Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
Please change the DPX 600 sticker!!! That is what Volvo called them. Have someone make you some cool stickers that say Innovation 600!!
Did you ever find out if there was a difference in HP between the Eikert exhaust and the CMI's???? |
Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
I will change those stickers asap! Rick at Innovation said I 25hp per motor.
Dave, I WAS an OL guy you ball buster!!! |

Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
Looking awesome. I love the Rough Riders they are such a good looking boat. Do you think you will be in the 90's with 1875 hp? I would love to see your boat are you going to do any poker runs this year?
Hunter |
Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
Hunter, if it is in the 90's, I will be very happy. I think the Rough Riders with 575's do 93-95??? I plan on doing Key West in Nov. and maybe one or two more with FLpowerboat club. How 'bout you?

Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
you forgot to respond to me...
|
Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
Matt,
My guess is upper 80's realy close too 90.... You have the first RR I think with a full cabin, heavier than the cover girl's versions and weight in the front on those rob speed, (2-3mph is the effect of an extended cover girl per phil compared to a std cg cab). Can't wait to see how you do, it will be an awesome site to see, impresive boat...CYA in key West. :D |
Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
Upper 80's will be fine with me. We never get to really run that hard anyway. GLH, you are right, we do have the full cabin w/ head.
Stecz, I am learning to tune you out. LOL |
Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
and i thought we were buds.. my feelings are hurt....

Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
You know that you are my buddy!

Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
What did Rick Jr at Innovation tell you as far as dyno numbers aka HP on the 600's? If memory serves me correctly, the 600hp number is a little conservative. I can't remember correctly, though.

Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider

Great pic! Rick actually said the motors are right at 600 w/ the CMI headers. |
Re: Project: 46 Rough Rider
