well yea i would love a 38 put i'm still far from getting one of those hey ya have to start some where. i hear that their really pretty good in the rough and that it's pretty much the same hull as the 24 panter and jaws is this tru. any picss

The 24 Cigarette and the 24 Banana are the same boat and they have a 8 foot beam the other 24's you mentioned are 7 foot beams.
The original 24 Cigarette molds were sold to Charlie McCarthy, founder of banana boat by Don Aronow.....these became the start of the banana boat co. Later Don wanted to come out with a 24 again and he bought a blank hull from Charlie to use as a plug for the new boats, one being the Firefox and another being the 24 cat he made by splitting it down the middle.
Look over in the Banana boat stuff and in some our other posts, you can get a lot of info there.

They are GREAT boats.....more than capable of staying ahead of any other 24 in the big ocean stuff and they will surprise many 28 foot guys with twins in rough bay waters.
Notice ouor avatar.....that's a 24 foot banana with twin 300HP engines with TRS drives in the Benihana race in the ocean.
Banana's had stand up bolsters vs Cigarette that had seats....gave more of big boat handling edge. Excellent starter boat if you are thinking of moving to a 38 foot someday.
Anything else we can do to help let us know.

well my dad has a 38 gun and yea that's what i will want one day but for now (i'm 22) i would like a 24 firefox or now that ya have gave me knowledge on the Banana boat that it's the same one. i would like to find one that would need some restore. do any of ya know of any 24 cigs or banana that are up for sale. send them. or more pics would be awsome. i'm leaving now to kw. i hope 2 see yall there . we are p3-19 pollo tropical racing team
