used bams speed calculator 11,000 lbs 2000hp got 96mph if my experience is any indicator expect high 80,s & jump for joy if you hit 90 plus. good luck i'd like to see a mistress rock

with all that resin in a mistress I believe it would take 200 hp to get 100+ mph

My 77 with the 650 hr. at 71 was on gps so 500 hr. probably 65

I've got a '78 Mistress, had twin 454/400's, pretty stock except for crane gold rockers, manley valves, and Comp 305 cams . . . nothing exciting. I saw all of about 56MPH on GPS! Thank god I blew a motor . . . these are heavy old tanks!

So I am building a set of 496 stroker motors, from the original 454 blocks with 990 heads. Engine builder is anticipating 600-700HP in final form. I think with the right props I should see 45MPH cruise and 75MPH top, if not more. Anybody have any ideas on drive height? I was thinking about raising the x-dim to take advantage of the SSMII drives on the boat.
