I'm not sure, I think the graphics on this 38 are great. I think i like the newer style graphics better but those sty;e graphics are everywhere now.

No, but the guy started out at like $239k, I couldn't believe no one snatched it up! I bet someone got a good deal. That was probably one of the best deals out there on a T/S Gun, but again, it had 500EFI.

Lipship had an older cigarette named "wired" for sale, I wonder if that boat was its replacement. What do you think a 02 with hp500's should sell for, all things being equal of course. A 2001 equipped the same way, no trailer. Other than the extra horsepower and torque whats the difference in the 525 and 500, is something forged rather than cast?

Two fantastic things about the 525EFI is the Smartcraft/Guardian system and the closed cooling. Those two items alone are worth a lot more than you would think.

Thats a great looking top gun. One of the boats I have now has a 496 with closed cooling and smartcraft. I know the 525 comes with it and I thought the hp500 came with it after 2001, closed cooling and smartcraft that is. What I was most curious about was the bottom end of the engine. whats the difference between the 525 and 500. Is your boat for sale? What year is it?

The boat is for sale and is a 2000 model. Offshore enthusiast needed.

Brad, the 500EFI doesn't have smartcraft or closed cooling in any year.
