Is there a way to manually open the power door?

The only way I found is to go under the passenger dash and undo one of the hydraulic hoses, or undo it at the pump get a bucket to catch the oil and push the door. Not fun, specially in 5'ft waves when mine stopped working.

Hydraulic???

I think mine is electric. It has a big screw that the door "travels" on. There is no way to maunually push the door. But remove the passenger dash panel, and you could probably open the door by turning the big screw by hand. Might take you all day, but may be possible.

In a Top Gun you would need to take off the passenger side guage panel then you can access the L bracket on the edge of the door. The bracket has 3 philips screws (large) that can be undone pretty quickly. Then flip the bracket up out of they way and open the door. Just make sure that you put something like a cloth around the bracket so it doesnt mark the door while open.

Why do you need to open it????

If you have a Tiger, and it is hydraulic, the relays and pump are underneath the helm. You can use a battery jumper pack, or some wires connected to a battery and connect it directly to the relay to open or close the door. This method will work if your batteries are dead, your battery charger is broken, or your helm switch is broken. I have had to use this method twice to open the cabin door when the battery charger broke. Ed Cozzi showed me the trick and it worked like a charm. It also works on the engine hatch cover - the pump.relays are in the same location.

For the rear hatch you can jump the pump under the rear seat.

My solution on the door was found when the hydraulic cylinder stopped working the pump was not the issue.
