Default 46' Rough Rider, "RumRunner"

A friend of ours recently bought the 46 Rough Rider, "RumRunner." I got a nice close-up view of it today. All I can say is WOW. He owned the "600th" Top Gun before this. Dry Sump Sterling 1050's with Dry Sump #6's. Runs 115mph.

That thing is SICK!! I thought that theme was a great idea. Classy boat.
But I really don't like the dashes on the new R/R's. How the hell can you see over that big'ol dash sticking up out of the boat anyway??!!

I'm pretty sure this is a concept dash along with 46' RR American Muscle and 46' RR Stealth. All the other Rough Riders have a more practical dash like the ones pictured below.

The regular dashes are sweet! Great layout and I love the way the swithes line up to the compass at an angle. Those 3-D tab/drive indicators are so bad a$$ too! Can you buy those and install them in an older cig? How much do they run? While you were giving that cheese eatin' grin behind the steering wheel of the Rum Runner did you find it odd to look over the top of the dash??

Yes, the helms are very tall. I wonder if you can see when it gets up on plane . No, the 3-D indicators only come on the RR's & the new 39 Unlimted.

PS-Ya ready for a Cig yet?
