i'm pretty sure that the fastest cig was the rio roses that phil raced a couple of years ago. i bealive it was either a 42 or 46 i think it was a 46 . not sure what power but do know it had # 6's. also another cig that was super fast like 135 mph was a 38 t/s topgun that Tim G was selling at national :D that had like twin 1350 sterlings and number 6

Hi Mike,

Someone has exaggerated that boat to you. It ran in the teens and they weren't 1350's. The fastest Cigarette ever was/is the Rio Roses boat, now Maximus. It ran 133 when it was racing a time or two. The Boat runs in the high 120's currently and has been converted to pleasure. It is owned by a great friend of mine.

Are you talking about '04 38TS "Heavy Metal Thunder"? Greek Lightnings old boat?

I looked at it, 900 Sterlings with #6 dry sumps. He said it ran 112 with John Tomlinson driving. The best Greek had it going was 109.

ya could be right but i rember tim g. saying he has at national that ran in the 130's it wasn't the rio roses it was 38 gun i'm just saying what i read at what time be4 the whole national chit happened

Yeah they had a couple powered with big engines. None would run anywhere close to 130's though. They were some sweet rides.

I saw that someone commented that they had been passed by that Cig while in a 36 Nortech, couldnt remember who it was. They had server problems today and most of todays posts have vanished, it wasnt anything you said.

I said I was in a 36 Nor-Tech goin to Key West on the poker run and Tom in the 45 passsed us at 121. Theres no doubt that thing goes high 120's.

Have you guys ever seen any 42X numbers? Also I have noticed that their arn't many 42X pictures of them running in the water? Do any of you have any high speed pics of any 42's running?

One of my best buddies just bought this boat. The staggered 42X. I cant wait to get it into the water to go and play. Where did you get those pictures so large. Those are the pictures off the Cigarette website but I can't download them to my computer!!! do you know why?????? This Cigarette appearently went a little over 100. Should be a fun boat. Tripple digits are fast in my book.

That is a sick boat. How fast does that 42 X run with the 1075's. Over 110 I would assume. Man cigarettes are so cool. Where does Greek Lightning boat at? I have never seen that boat before.

So who has the fastest 42 - 46 cig that is a pleasure boat? How fast is that V-12 Torque rough rider? I would think that boat would haul the mail, but am not sure.
