Congrats! What are you doing for power? What are you doing for paint and who'd you buy it through?

LS, thanks. I'm going with one of the last sets of 575's. Would have liked the new 600's, but couldn't see paying what they want for them. They really like them a whole lot. I bought the boat from Offshore Performance. I've known Bill and Harry for a long time. Not sure who is going to paint the boat yet, but will make that decision this weekend.
Greek, thanks for pushing me to finally get started. The hardest part is paying the bill, not making the decision to do it. (Bro) I'm going to be asking you a lot of questions since you are the Pro. HaHa

No problem Bro! Ha... I'm sorry I havent called today but I did get your voice mail. I was relieved to hear the ball was rolling. Today was the last day for my Goodyear store and it was a zoo trying to keep up. I was selling everything at cost just to get rid of it. I'll give you a call tomorrow around late morning. Again, best of luck and congrats. You deserve it!!!!!!

I have a friend with an OL with 575's he had them remapped and changed the pullies after the warranty was done and now has solid 650-675 hp from each mills.

Has been reliable and hits 93 with a 37 OL.

PM cowisl he can give you info if it's something you'd want eventually.

I actually had contract in hand doing research for a property on Hartwell. Someone beat me to it. 2.+ acres with a cabin, deep water that listed for $160K. Gave up for the holidays.
Before that I found a real nice brand new log cabin shy 2 acres at Murray. Went into contract bidding back -n- fourth. Had to put way too much $ in for dock and improvements but fell thru. As a matter of fact the owner is from Atlanta. Built the house and after all done the wife did'nt like it. WHY??? "it was too far from a mall and she could'nt go shopping". Do have to say it was way in the boonies but I like that. Probably 30-40 minutes from the interstate and 20 minutes to the closest convience store.

We have lots of friends that have homes on Hartwell. Great lake, we just like being so close to this lake. Good to here from you again.
