OK... so about 88-89 ish.... that still seems a bit slower than it should be.... that should 88 - 89 with 525s and BXRs... do the drives rob that much power or are the engines a bit on the turd side?

Speedmaster Drives are very heavy. Weight robs horsepower, period. Eddie said the boat is sold. Also, I've never seen a 525EFI Top Gun T/S with a cabin run 88mph.

The one I looked at in TX had 525s, XRs and a cover girl. He said dry, or test weight it would run 88 - 89 and mid 80s with regular load range. :confused:
