Yep I still have her, apart from the cleaning and starting the deck structure, everyrhing is stopped. Too little time to do things. If you are around here i can show you the boat, no problem, just let me know.
Marco.

Default Cig 36

Hello

i bought a Dry Martini model sometime ago.During the restauratiuon i realized that some domensions were completely wrong. For example the length is 109 cm but the beam is 34 cm.

Cananybody provide the right dimensions of the original Cigarette 36, especially of the superstructure ?

thanks

Bob

QUOTE=MF;1270196]Hi. I was thinking if anybody has got any info on the cigarette 36 Wide Body, years 1972 - 1973. Just purchased a boat in very poor condition and need a little advice...Will post pics soon...
The documents that went with the boat says lenght over all 10.90 mt, beam 2.90 mt, year 1973, Builder Cigarette Racing Team USA.

I think it is a Cigarette 36 , in Italy there aren't a lot of these boats and so it is not easy for me to restore it.

It seems the boat had twin 260 hp mercuisers staggered but someone cut the deck to make a more spacious cabin and put the two motors side by side. Boat had TRS, one had been stolen. Trim tabs are very heavy Kiekhafer with two pistons.
Now i am taking out all the wood that they used to construct the "new" deck and it seems that the old boat is still there..

Any info will help, Thanks[/QUOTE]
