Being my first post was the New Years day 2007 I guess it’s time for an up date.
Still have the Nova back on page 50. It now has a 496BBC. Blew up the insane Mopar small block to many times. It’s due for a make over this spring.
I was going to do it in the winter of 08/09 but I held off for this.

Thought I should have something to drive when the Nova was down for repaint and repairs. 1973 Monza 19. 454 BBC, Volvo 280 T drive, hydro steering, etc, etc. Turned out pretty nice and got 56mph (gps) out of her out of the box and that was with a crappy aluminum prop and no tuning.
Now back to the 19 for the winter of 09/10.
Well, not so fast. I think I will sell the Monza (the plan from the start, the recession was supposed to be over by now, best laid plans) and if I have enough I will buy this other boat and if it’s not available it’s the 19’s turn. But then I jumped the gun and went to see if this other boat was for sale and after saying no to a hundred people over the years he said yes to me. Oh crap. I just made him realize he will sell it and I haven’t sold the Monza yet. Now I have to buy it or take the chance of losing it forever.
So it came home also and is almost done.
1968 Nova24 Race Boat. The original Nova.

This spring is the 19. I swear.

I have always wanted one of these...this fresh water survivor from The UP of Michigan sneaked up on me in Miami....I had to have it.
Still running Merc 260s thru No. 1 Mercs...strong 383s & Bravo's are "in the oven".
She still has the look..."she winked at me ...and I couldn't walk away".

This thread has had me at my lap top for over an hour...love it!!
