Well, there was a wrecking ball sitting there that came with the crane, someone said lets see who can move the ball the farthest....some big guys tried, Don Pruett, Aronow, etc.....well Mel was just standing by smiling...... and then he went over and ....yes, that thing was moved with no problem.
That kind of strength and toughness, was what he brought miles offshore in really bad weather where he had to race 500 miles or so. He was a one of a kind. Great guy, thanks for the recent photo.

Your are so right about Stu's runs. I am not into the drag race style and the girls don't really dig it either. We always hang to the back and let everyone go bye.
We always end up doing the runs Friedman style, trying to keep all the establishments on the way in business and get there just after dark.
You sound almost back to normal, thats awesome. When are you and Lucy gonna stop in Key Largo again. You know the Sea Ray fits.
I finally got about as close to a 41 as I will get.
