Hey Offshoreracer..!

Sold the Cafe in 2003 and went halfsies on the 38. The 38 was going through a total redo, moving the cockpit back and complete rerig which we are still finishing out (time permitting)

What's up at Va Beach? My folks have a house in Sandbridge so I might have to drag the boat down for a weekend when it's ready and might need a guide....

Always something to do. The HRPA Poker Run is this weekend, starting and finishing at Waterside in Norfolk. Check it out in the Poker Run section. Bring it down next year.

I really like this thread and ever since I was a kid, I've always like the Magnum 27 Sport. For that reason, I bought one a number of years back and restored it . . . still have it, and probably will for some time to come.

This 27 Magnum Sport was built in 1972 and has twin 383 Chevrolets and Volvo-Penta DPX-A drives. The DPX drives hook up very well. The boat feels like it rides on rails.

Thanks Stromrider.

Ginny, pictured in post #768, won't let me do two things - with the Magnum that is! One is that she won't let me remove the sun pad in order to install a raised engine hatch, and the other is that she will let me buy or sell any other boat, but not her Magnum!

I have to agree with her, that rear sun pad can be a great asset. One of the reasons I bought my Mirage, was that sun pad !!!! And I must say your Magnum looks great, don't change it.
