Looking for Old Open Class Raceboats
I have been getting a lot of members of HORBA write in and ask about findnig old Open Class raceboats from the 60's, 70's and 80's.
Anyone out there know of anything sitting around a yard or shop somewhere, that is in need of a good home, let's post the boat name, type and location and of course, contact number if possible.

I know that there is an old Donzi 28 like this one sitting in a boat yard in Florida.
The yard is located right between the Florida turnpike and Route 95 where they cross, up around Stuart or that area somewhere....it can be seen while going over the bridge heading north.

Re: Looking for Old Open Class Raceboats
I'm off for a few days in Florida, maybe I can find some old stuff sitting around.
Looking forward to a ride with Lucky Strike to see the races on Sunday in Deerfield and a visit to Ratman's next week to see the progress on the old # 3 Scarab.
What ever happened to all the great old outboard race boats....all they would need is a couple of new motors clamped on the back and they could jump those waves again.

Too bad the owner is unrealistic in its worth. (and it's been close to 20 years since she's been wet)
