I just got my Extreme Boats Magazine and WOW!!! What a great story and an AWESOME Historic Raceboat, DRY MARTINI!!! GREAT job Ron Polli and of course Kurt Berger on the story and the rebuilding of the boat!!! That boat is simply, BEAU-TI-FUL!!! Ron, great writing as always and I even called Kurt to learn more about the boat and it's history. Thanks very much for sharing and I REALLY hope that more of the old raceboats get restored. Where is ELBoss, Favay, Love it, and many more??? Please keep it up.
Thanks for the history lesson, Ben
PS: And JoJo, you looked great as always, Navigating...

That story is really great, I live in Naples Fl, and Roger Munn has a Engine shop here and works on my Cig the former Zero Cavity. While I was there talking to Roger I told him about the story in Extreme Magazine, found out that the motors in his shop in the corner for a couple of years came from that boat and that Kurt has them in the boat now they were in the mountain and when Roger got them they were rapped just as they said in oil blankets, Roger has been in the mountain and says there are more there.
Sweet ride love those old wave crushers!

Let him know about HORBA....Historic Offshore Race Boat Association.
We just had Jerry Jacoby of AJAC HAWK fame join today and I called him.
The stuff Roger has would make a great addition to the site.

We are doing a fun run in Naples Thanksgiving, he says he's going to bring out the Magnum, and he has been working on it lately still sounds good, those motors in his boat were raced in the boat he built the 31 Spirit. We had allot of fun on that boat.
