Re: 39 squadron
A Year ago there was a white and blue Squadron XII 39 from 1981 bare hull for sale in England called Shogun Star.
Any info on that one it was the #8 hull of 1981 ?
No longer listed at Yacht World.
It´s a stretch of a 35 Cig I believe as the cabin looks identical to one. The lack of interior space was kinda turn off but then again it would´ve been a great old school racer project.

Re: 39 squadron
The one for sale a year ago had no raised gunnels or raised deck it was totally flat as in a 35 mistress, the wents yours had on the deck was on this one below the deckline in the hull.
Also the "Apache" has the engine bay raised where as this one was totally flat there too.
That kinda turnde me off although it looked really sharp as the height in the engine room was quite low.
Look for yourself:
PS Why do people sell Squadrons as Cigarettes or put Cig Decals on them , Squadron is way cooler in my eyes ???

Re: 39 squadron
This one was in a NY Poker Run pictured in Powerboat few years back... had a golden lettering on the hull.

Mikey, i think some of the latter XII were built w/ the Cig vins.
Plus it does help w/ marketing.
but i do agree that knowing its a SQXII is extremely cool.
The one by me is slick.

Re: 39 squadron
I understand the marketing point BUT...then again...Aronow using CRT VINs on XEX boats...HMMMM.....
Look at the pictures I´ve linked...darn I´m between many decisions regarding what boat to look into.
That SQXII 39 has haunted my mind....the true forefather of "Apache"
PS go someday and check what Dry Martini´s prefix is...at least on 1981 SQXII´s its XEX and did Don Buy Cig back 83 or 82? What about Apaches prefix?
