That was the boat that I would chase down with my Bullet 130 in the Barnegat Bay back in my younger years. They usually had a full boat so it would slow them down just enough for me to stay with them at around 65-70.
Frank Lach and I had a great time running the boats back then... :drink:

Dig the old Stroh's logo in the background. The locale is the Dodge pits just south of the Roostertail....still ground zero for the gold cup hydro races every summer in Detroit. Any pix of your family's old Nova?

I couldn't find the pic of my dad's but about 5 years later I bought a used Nova and painted it to look like his. Here's my first boat and it's sitting behind my first house in St Clair Shores.

We went on a trip to Traverse City with a group of ex racers from Lake St Clair last summer. Here are some pics. Red Crane in his Skater.
