Re: Back In The Day
Marty,
Yes that is the Medicine Man boat. I stumbbled across it by accident one day. I'm sure if someone wanted it, it could be had cheap or free... |

If you raced in the Great Lake's back in the 70's 80's 90's you will remember these two Detroit Icon's sadly they are no more. Stroh's was a Great Sponsor of Offshore Racing, & Lake St. Clair Offshore Racing Assocation put on some Great Race's, the club had one last party in June of 2005 and then we turned off the light's one last time.

Re: Back In The Day

Re: Back In The Day
I'd vote Stilletto is a 37.5 Cig.........looks a lot like the Squadron 12 "Apache"......

Didn't they sink that boat in Point Pleasant at its last race ? I remember it being at Proroc for some time and it was in bad shape then... I could only imagine what it looks like now... |

Kenny Black's boat, "the Whopper" pacing the race in #26 is a 32' twin inboard Cary that I built for him in 1974.

Her is another pic of the cat when it became Express as I recall this cat did not work very well,, they redesigned it and the rest is history.
