Thanks Guys. Alot Of Custom Work Was Done To The Cockpit.

Looks great!!!

What does the "cabin area" look like? I see you have cabin door access - did you guys modify the bulkheads for more cabin room or is it still original?

By the way - look for many more "Longshot" pictures from back in the day in the near future on the HORBA site...new format coming soon there.

More pics added in the Longshot thread.

Is this the boat that jack bought that went to chicago?

cigarette39 03-23-2007 10:03 AM

No. Bill Had 2 Of The Same Boats. This Is The First One He Got From Cigarette And Won The Races With. The One In Chicago Is The One He Buildt Himself When He Rented The Mold From Cigarette.

There were two versions of the same black Long Shot 39' with different decks in the cockpit area or there were two different boats?

Steve

Seen a fair amount of surreal goings-on in Key West (on the racecourse & Duval St!) but that turn ranks right up there. We were in the next wave of A boats & I'll never forget both hanging on for dear life and whippin' by a rather concerned-looking Louie!

B-Fast's throttleman is a fluent pilot, champion car racer & DUX inflatable driver also.... and to this day he swears that 30 V was the hardest to tame, most counter-intuitive bltch of a machine you could ever try to master!

There were two differnt boats. The one in the first pic is mine and the other is the one in chicago.
