[QUOTE=h2oboater;2024083]The year 1971,, there were not any [ official ] race's on lake St Clair,, More Magnum's, Donzi's were appearing on the lake. This was one of them,, a Donzi I believe belonging to Wally Harper before he raced his famous Lil Smidgen Magnum. Twin 302 vee drive Ford's in a 21' Donzi, must have been some ride!![/QUOT

Mark, correction from Kev....the Donzi is actually Jack Mathes'....co-pilot (holding a beer!) is his neighbor John. Power is Holman & Moody.

Couple pix of the reincarnated Miss Bee-Haven from the LEOPA run....Mark P did a beautiful job restoring her and the power. My opinion, no prettier sound in Offshore than hot small-blocks & dry pipes like the 28 has.

another shot of the 28. Just noticed that in the background on land @ Emerald City are more Pantera-racing legends....Karyn & Mike Cross...ran 24 single BB 'Double Cross' to multiple regional, divisional & national titles in A class

A Kevlar 24 Sport? Wow, that's a pretty boss little boat. And the Miss Bee Haven is sharp as well. Any idea what happened to the black 28 Pantera with the tripple OBs?

I'd toss that question to Pepe & crew @ Pantera...I believe the black triple was his personal ride?
