The P - 124 triple outboard Pantera 28' was one of the factory race boats and became a "hay hauler" in the early 80s then burned to the water line in Bimini , Bahamas. There was alot of 28' triple outboard race boats built in the late 70s and early 80s. Most of them were black with different color stripeing.
The P-40 Pantera 24' was a Kevlar Epoxy resin laminated boat. It was originally built for the Miami to New york outboard record but my Father decided it was to light and laid up a new hull and deck for the run with straight glass and a little extra weight Emerald City Marina was our original Detroit dealer in the late 70s before Showdown Marine in the River. Here are a few classic Pantera 24' race shots hanging on our office walls. You can see that one of them is from the Double Cross race team from Michigan.

Jo quick question for you
You were located in the old signature boats building on 188th street right. I was looking into the history of signature boats and was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I was told that the last owner of Signature was a guy named Mike Becall did he take over the company after Tommy Adams was killed? Did you ever know this guy at all. Or what happen to the company after Tommy.
