So, this is our story. We had just moved to Cobb Island and we were at the local hangout, Fishtales. Got talking to a gentleman one night who had been with the DEA. He said, "Oh, you're the ones with the big Fountain." We said yes. Then he asked us if we knew about the Blue Thunder boats. We said yes and he said, "I'll be right back." He came back and said he wanted this jacket to have a home with people that would appreciate it. It didn't fit him any more.....it's a Large, so it fits me and not Bill. We offered to pay him and he refused. But he said, "If I find it on e-bay, I know where you live."
If you notice it is almost the same jacket that Don Aronow and George Bush, Sr. are wearing on the back of the "Don Aronow - The King of Thunderboat Row" book.
