Marauder had many race boats this one was a cruiser that raced back then. It's great that you found the number, now there's no doubt . I know how you feel, Im restoring a 24' Cobra that was raced by Wally Harper [L'IL SMIDGEN - Magnum] son's called SMIDGEN Too, when I saw the name cast into the trim tabs I knew I had the right boat. Now I need to start sanding all the paint down too.

We have very few classic offshore race boats here in the NW, now if it’s old hydro’s, we have as many as you want, there's five within five miles of my house. The first intent was to use the some of the rigging out of this one too keep the magnum period correct and scrape the hull. Now with your help I now have two boats to restore to original condition.

Well...
I have new gel-coat on 75% of the boat, Oh course it's back to the original scheme and after turning over 10,000 rocks I now have the factory paperwork. Hugh

Thanks Mark this is only the restoration in front of the restoration, yes I've gone crazy...
The paperwork story I'll have to call you on the phone about it's one for the books...
Here's late last's night a wicked GEL-COAT performance...
Once all the colors and numbers and others markings are on the boat, yes in gel-coat not with stickers, four to five coats (50 mills) of clear gelcoat will cover the entire boat including the bottom.
