That shot of under the deck, looks like that boat could have been underewater....those bulkheads are pretty dirty.

or could be RESIDUE...........should look like this ....right Charlie.........

On that 35, it almost looks like the bulkheads were cut open to make more room under there....way up front it even looks like a flat piece was put in for a bed??

May not weaken it, just doen't look like right.

Here is the inside of Michelob Light....the boat Ratman is restoring......they are open too, but they started this way, not cut later.

The other photo is the inside of Yellow Warpath....look way up in front.

Prob a ballast tank....residue.....Ha!
