I'm looking at a 1989 28 Carrera for sale and I can't seem to find out anything about these old boats. Does anybody know anything about these boats. Good/Bad/Ugly/Kick Azz. I am really trying to get a gauge on the build quality. I'm really set on the 28 panteras, but I really like the twin 350's on the carrera and the low price.

Built by Humberto Picon in Miami I believe. I too have only heard good things about them, well built and solid. I saw that ad also, looks like it could be a good deal and nice color scheme. I think I have the specs on the boat somewhere, I will look and post.

Does anyone know for sure the last year these performance boats were made? Was it 1989 or 1990 possibly? Of course, the CCOF version is still being built to this day. Does anyone know roughly how many were built or know of any current owners? I like the style...reminiscent of a flat deck Cig!
