Default Good Job Brownie....Part Deux

Another wonderful article by Alan Brown in Hot Boat about his Around Long Island Marathon exploits back in '65. If memory serves me right after all the Donzi's, Formula's, and Prowlers bit the dust, it was left to an old Brunswick Hull and a single Outboard Glastron 16 footer to take 1st and second overall. That race had special meaning for me since I not only watched the start, I also changed jobs that day. Ken Kalibat of K&K outboard fame broke his back in that race, and that caused him to reach out and hire a wise *ss young boat racer for extra "help" in the boatyard.....probably the worst mechanic he ever had.
