h2oboater,do you have detailed pics of that boat that is noticed in the background of the American Eagle?

BT this was the only pic I could find on that dock, not the boat you wanted but another classic.

h2oboater,I think that you have understood to thing I reported me.
It matter with the 36' Cigarette Black Tornado that Balestrieri held in USA to race the US Ccompetitions for the world championship in 1972 and 1973.
The photo probably was taken in 1973.
What I don't understand why that boat was on the Lake Erie when the Kirby Classic was a race not valid for the world championship, but for the APBA only?

Interesting is that the left boat tonyto found in the boatyard in Puereto Banus back in 1990 has a two man bolster and it looks like the Eraf who also has a two man bolster. The only other race 35 I´ve seen with a 2 man bolster is the Spirit/Benihana, any others with a two man bolster?

Great photo! It looks like that photo was taken at Le Club International across from Creighton's on the Intercoastal at Sunrise Blvd. Le Club back in the 70's was a popular spot for boat racers and high rollers. I believe Le Club might have even sponsored a few races.
