I hate to see a boat like that exposed to the elements!

It's hard to believe someone would let that boat sit like that.
I've seen it in person many years ago when it was a few years ago,it was just awesome. What a waste!

This is how she looked at the impound yard in the Detroit area before she left for Ohio in the early 80's. My Ohio friends say she is still there waiting to be restored.

H20,

Can you get pics of her current condition?

I would be willing to buy her, my favorite boat of all times.

H20, did you know Bob, or know of how he passed? I actually knew him pretty well. He and "Wild" Bill Hollister (crew chief for the old Wellness Plan Unlimited Hydroplane, and turbine expert) were both good friends of mine.

Yes I knew Bob as a member in our club, Lake St Clair Offshore Racing Association [LSCOSRA] Bob was the man with the man with the golden wrench.. I believe he passed a few years before we closed the door on the club back in 2005. Bob also teamed up with Frank on his Magnum [Broad Jumper] back in the 70's. :ernaehrung004:

BOB WAS ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED GUYS IN THE DETROIT AREA AS FAR AS ENGINE TECHNOLGY. HE WAS AHEAD OF HIS TIME IN MOST PHASES OF PERFORMANCE ENGINE BUILDING.

That's a sweet pic H2o, I have never seen him with hair. He was definitely a very talented mechanic. He was a good friend of my fathers, and a bunch of other race mechanics that I know.

"Lets get creative" was his favorite phrase!
