Just a little up date on the 35 Race boat named Conspiracy it is now in my shop in So Cal. We are doing a resto mod for its new owner it is still running the Gentry Turbo motors with crash boxes and a 3 man bolster. We are going to change to Borg Warner style trans so it is more user friendly but going to try to keep it as original as possible I believe that we are going back to the Conspiracy paint job right now its red sides with black deck stripes pictures to follow. Regards Dan

I think all purpose built triple bolster race boats 35's were staggared engines for the open class back in the day.

That's a 36 wide body. Not the 35 narrow beam like what I have here.

Here are some pictures of it as we got it and as we started to work on it, we are moving the rear motor back and making it a plug in trans there was not enuff room to move it forward and run a drive shaft. We also repaired the dash from all of the changes its been thru over the years. Starting to put it back together wiring the dash and made fuel fill mounts for the rear deck as you had to open the hatch to fuel the rear tanks but that wont fly with Surveyer's. Picking up all of the new exhaust manifolds and intercoolers from Carson Brummett tomorrow.

That's what I did with the Nova 24 race boat. It was twin motors to a single V drive to a single prop. One motor was direct drive and the other was into a crash box then into the V drive. A couple B/W 1 to 1 transmissions slipped in between made life so much better. A marina and no reverse in a heavy 24 foot boat don't mix.
