Default FOR SALE: 1978 Cigarette 35' Mistress

I've decided to sell my 35' Mistress, and I wanted to give you on OSO a heads up before it hits eBay tomorrow. A change in plans and a lack of storage/work space is forcing me to abandon the project and I want to see her go to a good home.

I'm selling the hull and deck, complete interior and a 2003 Venture tri-axle trailer, asking $15,000. The hull has been recently sprayed with jet black Awlgrip, with a vivd red Awlgrip boot stripe. The deck has aged white Imron in decent shape, and the bottom has been completely sanded and I began to paint it stark white Awlgrip. The color scheme was done to match Don Aronow's original 32' Cary "The Cigarette."

The hull is in excellent condition and appears to be dry as a bone. I've owned the boat since 2004 and it has been stored on the trailer in my warehouse ever since. The transom and stringers appear to be in excellent condition.

The engines, drives, gimbals, K-Planes, and all the rigging and electrical wiring has been removed from the engine room to the dash. The engine room was stripped, sanded and painted with bright poppy Awlgrip. The interior is less than one season old, and is a burgundy vinyl with gray and black stripes.

This is the perfect start to a great boat at a great price. If you have an interest, give me a call or shoot me an email. I have the drives, gimbals, transmissions, K-Planes, etc. and I am willing to make a package deal if needbe.

Thanks,

Harry Lewen

I am assuming this is a TRS boat? What kind of money would you want for the rest of the rigging? Just looking for more info for now. I have 2 projects on the way all ready, but wish I didn't now.

Jeff:

This was a TRS/Speedmaster II boat. The drives are freshly rebuilt and available at an asking price of $5000 for the pair including props. I'm willing to work with someone if they are interested in everything. I have brand new BW 72C trannies, Stainless Marine Gen III dry headers, K-Planes, new style trim pumps, Mayfair billet controls, you name it, it's probably on the shlef in my warehouse!

Let me know if you have a serious interest, I'm sick of the time wasters and tire kickers, I have an awesome hull at an awesome price and I just want her to go to the right home!

Thanks,

Harry

What is really the difference between a 35´ mistress and 35´ awesome? I have seen both with split angeled screens and straight screens. A have also seen "ugly" raised decks.
