John is still working on the final..final version. It is actually all done, but he keeps thinking about new stuff to add...he just knows so much that it just keeps growing.
True that a publisher can't be found...they all want a guarantee of a big number run to do it and there is no way to prove to them how big the real audience is, so around and around we go.
Meanwhile we are getting down to the end of the days for the Christmas special of both his first book and the DVD of SEARACE for a special combined price.....see it now at the online store at www.historicraceboats.com

Publishers are a people of crazy guys.
Often they haven't problem to publish book about an "interesting" species of Texan's cactus or "unique" house ornaments of elizabethian age.....full of colours pictures expensive tomos.
Without make market's investigations.
Must to be find a mecenate fan publisher.

Since the demise of The Racer's Edge, I have been priviledged to work for a couple of publishers...unfortunately, they were all "vanity" publishers and would print anything the customer wanted...of course, the customer had to pay the full freight.
In today's failing economical market, it will tough to find a big name publisher to print any type of number run for such a niche market.
I wish John all the best, and I will try to contact him to see if I can render and type of assistance.
We all pray for the success of a new book...my SEARACE is becoming page worn!
