Wonder where this MAGNUM could be found ? How fast ? When did it race ? Anybody with info ? Would love to see it!!!!! Michael

The photo looks like it was taken at Lake X. The boat in the water is a 35 foot Magnum that raced in the Bahamas races of the mid to late 60's. It never did do that well, too wide without enough power.

Where can it be found today?? Good question.

It would be cool. I almost bought one of the 35's with gas inboards and put a bracket on it!!! Why not right. I saw a 35 Bertram in Florida with a bracket and twin 250's........next project:D

Happy New Year Steve - its a 32 Bertram notice there is no Air vents behind the cockpit on the side of the boat - its a RACE BOAT - before they brought out the 38 - You probably remember Eddie LeCareau's "8" at the Kings Grant inn for a while there - also a boat like Bill Wishnicks Red Boss Nova

15 gallons per hour times 6 ... about 100 gallons per hour, how does that compare to a pair of 425hp big blocks?

140's came out in 1972, so that narrows down the year a little

Phil,that yellow #707 was a 28' Bertram not a 32'.
With the #909 was runned by Steve Sirois, named Speedmaster.
